On the 16th of November Bristol City Council and Milton Keynes will host an event at Glaziers Hall, near to London Bridge that will examine a number of aspects relating to energy awareness within public buildings (including schools).

The event is called Energy Awareness Plus and aims to inform and inspire in equal measure. Speakers on the day will include representatives from the UK Local Government Association (LGA), Department of Energy and Climate Change (DECC) and Global Action Plan (GAP).

The Energy Management Unit of Bristol City Council and Energy Team* from Milton Keynes will present examples of their awareness raising activities and the European perspective will be communicated by various Display Campaign partners.

In addition, De Montfort University will present some findings on the "Science of Energy Awareness".
