Coventry City Council
United Kingdom - 300 000 inhabitants

Presentation of the organisation:

A thriving city, with a vitality that welcomes people from all over the world. Coventry is a place where over 300,000 people live and work and where a rich choice of cultural venues are benefiting from multi-million pound investments. Alongside its sporting venues, and other leisure attractions it has landmarks including a world famous Cathedral, one of England's finest medieval guildhalls, one of Europe's finest medieval wall paintings and a museum holding the world's largest display of British road transport.

Actions implemented in the field of building performance:

Over the last two decades we have been installing cost effective energy efficiency and water saving measures in our buildings, but there is still a lot more to do. The installations include;
Building energy management systems
Fabric insulation
Heating and hot water control improvements
Swimming pool covers
