Le développement de Lannion se distingue par le soin particulier dont les acteurs font preuve pour réserver et construire un environnement de qualité. L’attrait de la Cité elle-même se renforce par un urbanisme mesuré, intégrant les anciennes communes périphériques et vitalisant le cœur de la ville par un équilibre restauré entre rive droite et rive gauche du Léguer.
La vie des Lannionnais est rythmée par des activités variées dans un cadre de vie attrayant. La culture dispose d’une place de choix tandis que le tissu associatif très dense propose une gamme complète de sports et de loisirs.

En choisissant d’accueillir dans les années 60, des entreprises de Télécoms, Lannion s’est ouverte à l’innovation et aux nouvelles avancées technologiques tout en maintenant son cadre de vie.
Ainsi, tradition et modernité : à Lannion, ces termes ne s’opposent pas mais se conjuguent au présent en une “énergie créatrice” et vivante.

- Eclairage des salles de classe avec abaissement de puissance
- Panneau solaire thermique sur des logements sociaux

* Actuellement une crèche "BBC" est en cours de réalisation

* Etude lancée pour la création d'un site solaire photovoltaïque

* Recherche autour du réseau de chauffage urbain (a dominante bois)... éventuellement lors de la requalification d'un quartier lannionnais.
