Prague, 1st October 2009, the 2nd Czech Display Users Club was part of a special seminar organised at the Czech Association of Scientific and Technical Societies. The topic of the seminar was energy savings in cities and municipalities. The users club was complimented by presentations on the "Covenant of Mayors” and the implementation of energy management in office buildings.

Participants of the seminar were introduced to Display via the recently released video available with Czech subtitles. Petr Hermann and Antonín Tym from the Healthy City Litoměřice, then provided the participants with information about their experience of carrying out a local communication campaign using Display.

There were also some Slovak representatives present at this meeting and there are plans underway to co-operate better with Slovak cities including the municipal association CitEnergo. For more information about the Display Campaign in the Czech Republic see this pamphlet (in Czech only).
