Thanks to the request of the city of Zurich, who has a number of schools with pools (without sub-metering), the Display team has activated the buildings option section. For General schools you can now choose “swimming pool” from the services provided in the building option and then it is compulsory to enter the surface of the swimming pool. Display will then calculate the energy and carbon performance of your building using the surface of the building with the following benchmarks:

And the water consumption is now divided by the surface of the swimming pool area using the following benchmarks:

There are currently 52 schools with pools but I am sure that with this new option available that more will be entered and by early next year we will be able to fine tune our benchmarks.
So Display participants who have not yet entered their schools with pools get going now and please do not forget to enter the surface of the swimming pool.
