Users Clubs special
Display users club
At regular intervals, Display Users Clubs are organised at European, national and local level. They are an opportunity for both, experienced and new cities to exchange on their activities within the Display Campaign or on how they communicate their national energy certificates, to get down-to-earth answers to practical building questions and to influence political decisions in this field.
Initiated on EU level by Energie-Cites in 2005, the Swiss were the first to set up national users clubs in 2006 and participated actively in the development of the different campaign communication tools. The French followed suite and thanks to the French Display Users Club initiated in late 2006, France became the first country where it has been possible to adapt Display to the National Requirements. Twice a year this club, facilitated by Energie-Cités, gathers representatives from French municipalities, the French Environment and Energy Management Agency and the Ministry responsible for the implementation of the EPBD.
National Display users clubs are now active in the Czech Republic, Slovenia, Ireland, the United Kingdom and Italy and are increasing in popularity.
