The European Commission has kicked off an excellent opportunity for those municipalities with Display® programmes in schools!

U4energy is a European Commission initiative, funded through the Intelligent Energy Europe programme. It aims at encouraging schools to contribute innovative ideas on reducing energy consumption and raising awareness of responsible energy use.

The competition is open to teachers and students in 31 European countries and will reward the best energy efficient practices in schools.
The first competition cycle, 2010-2011, began on 16 September at the European School II of Brussels in the presence of Energy Commissioner Oettinger.
