Indoor air quality and indoor temperature are important elements of the thermal comfort of a building. With the goal to continually improve the Display® tool, the team together with the City of Helsinki in Finland has developed two new features : s indoor air quality and indoor temperature. With these features you can check if the building is adequately heated, that is to say if an overconsumption is related to overheating of rooms.
The new features are based on European and Finnish classification criteria. Please note that : there is only one classification for indoor air quality whereas the classification of indoor temperature depends on the building type. The benchmarks are available on the user guide.
What does it look like on the poster ? On the poster has been developed a space in the box “Towards a class A building”, where icons clearly illustrate the classification.
