Since the beginning of the Display campaign, the data base has been progressively updated so that the Display classification scheme is as closely as possible to reality. Display has now developed a unique database with consumption data for more than 18,000 buildings and close to 50,000 posters have been created for these buildings.
The Display team has just analysed the database of these buildings, especially the primary energy and CO2 indicators. For all building types, this analysis shows that the energy management has signficantly been improved since the beginning of the Display campaign, particularily for schools. Consequently the primary energy and CO2 benchmarks have been modified for 4 of the 16 building types :
- Day nursery / Kindergarten
- General school
- Professional school
- Individual house
Please see the changes in the tables below (in yellow). For "general schools", the classification scheme has become stricter : for primary energy, class A stops at 50 kWh/m² (instead of 75 kWh/m²) and the class range is now of 50 kWh/m² (instead of 65 kWh/m²) ! Besides, requirements have been lowered for "individual houses".
You can find these updated on the user guide.
The database has been saved before the modifications. All posters have then been recalculated so it can be possible to compare posters from two different years.
