Latest Statistics – 10 000 buildings in sight!
The last time we presented the Display statistics was in December 2007 (newsletter No.11). Since then things have been moving along nicely. The number of new members has increased by more than 20%, from 311 to 380, helped a lot by the private companies (20) who have joined as part of a pilot process to promote Display in the private sector. In the last year there has also been a constant increase in French local authorities. This is due to the fact that Display has been adapted to the French national certification process (DPE). There are now over 150 French local authorities committed to Display.

The numbers of posters registered have increased significantly over the last year, reaching a figure of 17 350 and almost doubling the figure of December 2007 (10 000 posters). This increase is both thanks to the new members but mostly to the fact that authorities continue to enter their data every year to track their progress. Some authorities are now entering their fifth year of data.
At the end of 2007 Great Britain was ahead of France but with the constant increase of new French authorities in 2008 the French are now heading the pack with over 5000 posters. Ukraine is a new face to the top five with their 6 member cities producing over 1500 posters. Keep up the good work!

What is interesting to note is the influence of the French building stock on the CO2 performances for buildings in A, B and C first in the General School buildings (28,6%), Administrative (34%) and Social Cultural (43,9%).
