Award 2006

Award 2006

We received 6 applications for the 2006 Towards Class A Award: Braşov (RO), Bristol (UK), Colomiers (FR), Lausanne (CH), Lille (FR) and Verona (IT).

The “TCA” Awards 2006 ceremony was held during the 3rd BISE Forum in Riga on the 26th October. Every year about 100 participants from New Member States, Candidate Countries, Western Balkan Countries and Ukraine gather to exchange experiences and develop joint strategies to promote sustainable energy and energy efficiency.

Patrick Lambert, Director of the Intelligent Energy Executive Agency (IEEA), together with jury president Cllr Alison Hay (CEMR) handed over the prizes to the winner cities of Bristol (UK), Brasov (Romania) and Lille (France) for their exemplary municipal communication strategies contributing to the Display® European climate campaign. The Swiss city of Lausanne received the “special jury prize” from the international jury.
